As fellow climbers, we understand the draw of the sport, the injuries that can come with it, and the eagerness to get back to the crag. We will work with you to get your body in its best possible alignment. We’ll also show you proper mechanics and functional exercises to help you to stay on track once you get back on the wall.

Common injuries treated: Golfers elbow, shoulder impingement, carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, ankle sprains.

The thrill of shredding up single track and finding the perfect line doesn’t come without body aches and pains. As mountain bikers, we know how much demand there is not only on your muscles to get you up the hills, but on your joints that are jolted by the roots and rocks — let alone gravity itself. We’ll give you some specific exercises to improve balance and strength to keep those sessions going well.

Common injuries treated: Tendinopathies of the elbow, wrist, shoulder, neuropathy (numbness) of the hands, wrist sprains, lower back pain.

trail running & hiking

These hills were meant for walking, and that’s just what we’ll do… With the beautiful backyard of Chattanooga, it’s easy to head out for a hike. But not all trails come well-groomed. Roots, rocks, stairs, and snakes make us trip, fall, and jump. Plus, adding the miles on can slowly wear us down. We aim to improve the function of your feet and hips, and take the pain out of those weary joints.

Common injuries treated: Plantar fasciitis, knee issues, hip impingement, sciatica.
